In contrast, Hermione, who is secretly taking every class Hogwarts offers during her third year with the help of a Time Turner, is self-assured and stress-free in the films, but in the books, the stress nearly breaks her. In the movie, Hermione gets the line, and it's nothing more than a throwaway. To make matters worse, at the climax of the book, when the trio faces off with accused murderer Sirius Black (played in the films by Gary Oldman), Ron stands on a broken leg to defend his friend, creating a touching moment. Yes, the movies left a lot of quidditch matches left out of the story, but shooting the scenes were painful and very time consuming.
They both tell the same story, just the movie cut some of the characters and little things that I didn’t mention out. The book and the movie also have a lot of similarities too. Hermione’s time to shine is when she helps Harry out with Snape’s potions task, in order to get to the Sorcerer’s Stone. Snape made a logic puzzle/riddle that incorporates seven potions, three of which are poison, two of which are nettle wine, one of which returns the drinker to the previous room, and the last of which advances the drinker to the next and final room. Both Ron and Harry have a particular challenge that highlight their characteristics (the chess game and the Mirror of Erised, respectively), but in removing this third challenge from the movie, we don’t get to see how Hermione’s bravery and intelligence come together.

Yes, mostly everyone wants movie adaptations to be exactly like the book, but we would like the actor playing the lead to be comfortable with his costume and role. He said in an interview that he tried using green eye contacts but they weren’t comfortable and really hurt his eyes. The actor who played Harry Potter is Daniel Radcliffe.
This may seem like a minor part of the book, but really in the future it is a huge part for reasons I cannot say because some people, hint hint, are still reading the book.
Rowling wrote that Harry Potter’s eyes were emerald green. The book obviously has all of these things. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone movie was very accurate to the book, but just didn’t have important details like how Harry Potter’s eyes are green, the Sorting Hat didn’t sort right and sing a song, and how at the end of the book, there was no potions task in general.
